A shiva cave
temple built by Aadooru Mallapa is located here. A perennial stream
runs through the Nandhi's (bull's) mouth here.
Nestling
amoung a group of rugged hills, this mutt is known for its subterranean
chambers. The inscription at the entrance to the Panchalinga cave,was
made in 1286 AD,during the reign of the Hoysala King Narasimha lll.
